Olivia's room makeover

Now with my Mom in town we started to redo the bedroom of Olivia. We want to put the house on the market in May to be able to move during Olivia's summer vacation. We want to move closer to Chris' new work in south Denver. We already took a look at houses in Lone Tree but probably will look in Parker, too.

We needed to get rid of the red in Olivia's room. First, it is too bold a color and this big red wall just had a horrible paint job, even after 3 coats of paint.

These are the before pictures

We decided to go with white instead of a pale yellow like Jonah's room so that the new owner can do whatever with this room. Time ago I got this vinyl sticky tree from Craigslist to lighten up Olivia's new painted room. It looks fabulous!
I still need to change the chair into its red cover and need to get a small white nightstand but so far so good!

Dinosaur Ridge

Last week we decided to go with my Mom, who is in town, to Dinosaur Ridge, about 30 minutes from our house. We have never been there so it was time to go!

The kids digging in the sandbox for some bones...

On the trail we came along this amazing site! Dinosaur footprints all over! How exciting!

And there are even some bones in the rocks

Jonah can draw!

This picture is the first picture of Jonah that he drew all by himself and that actually shows something else than just weird scribbles.

When I asked Jonah who these guys were he said that is Papa and me.

How sweet! This picture is definitely a keeper!

Olivia got a Razor Scooter because she could ride Connor's - our neighbor boy - once and she loved it. She so outgrew the 3 wheel scooter she said.

So we bought her a fancy purple one and off she goes...

of course, Jonah wanted one, too. He does not care that the scooters are for 5+ years and that he's just 3. Riding Dudu's scooter once and he was hooked...

This video shows him the hour after we purchased the scooter

They both constantly tell us how much they love their scooters and how happy they are with them! Awww, kids!!
