Floor coming along

Finally, after like 4 days, the hardwood floor is complete!

If you give a pig a pancake

Olivia got this home from school one day. She needed to read the book and needed to write down in the yellow note book what she liked best about the 'pig and the pancake' book.

That is what she wrote:

'I like it when she did the house and she painted it and she got sticky. Olivia'

I know, it is 'somewhat' hard to read but Olivia did write all of her own and I was not even aware that she did this homework yet! I am so proud of her trying to write everything down what she thinks....

Somewhere here is a dog...

How the heck did Tobi get that slobber on his nose? So gross, Tobi, soo gross!! LOL

At Olivia's school there are sometimes police officer's who visit the class and talk about safety or such. What do I know? Olivia only says: There was a police man at school! And this is as much information as we get....but Jonah of course needed to get a picture taken in front of the car... boys!

we are getting hardwood flooring

For our upcoming move we decided to get rid of our carpet downstairs and get hardwood floor instead. We needed to get everything off the floor so that the guy could finally install it today.

This is how the house looked the past 2 days...

getting furniture away to rip out the carpet...I tell you, stains all over! Either fish tank spills, throwing up dogs, or potty-training infants! Evidence everywhere!

Chris stayed here today and everything got out the study except his huge desk

..and the story continues for the next 2 days or so....ahhhhh

Jonah and the wedding

Jonah will be the official ring bearer in Tim and Jessie's wedding on June 12th. Tim is Chris' brother and therefore Jonah was chosen as the ring bearer and Olivia will be a flower girl. We are so excited! Jonah probably not that much...but we think he looks pretty handsome and I am thrilled that the suit actually fits him quite well since we ordered it from a website!

From Olivia and her dress i do not have a pictures since I forgot my camera for the fitting. But she looks very cute.

I will try to do her hair myself and we tried soft hair rolls she wore during the night and this is the outcome...

I will still try to go a little fancier on her hair, though!
