Halloween

Here finally some Halloween pictures. Sorry, I am late posting them!

Olivia was a unicorn. I just made this myself as you probably can already tell :-) but she loved it! Please be pay attention to the 'hooves'!

Big Papa's and Honey's Cavalier King Charles Spaniels got dressed up, too. Sully is a pumpkin (poor dog!) and Dexter a doggy skeleton (very funny!)

Actual Halloween day where the kids went trick-or-treating. Jonah luckily choose the costume from last year but he definitely outgrows this one. But he still could squeeze himself into it one more time!

Unfortunately there are not that many houses doing Halloween in this new neighborhood. It was more fun up in Broomfield! :-(

But the kids still made enough candy to last us a while...

Front Room Entrance

After a little room make-over (again) this is now how the front room looks like. I still need to get the window boxes covered and the satin pillows and the couch pillows...preferably all in the same red color - or so. But this is definitely not on the top of my priorities!

We finally got hide-away hooks (from IKEA) to hang up our coats we use every day or for guest coats...or handbags and back packs...but we FINALLY have something! Yeah!

...und wieder...SCHNEE!

Ja, es gab mal wieder eine Schneewarnung. Gestern. Und gestern hatten wir wieder T-Shirt Wetter und ich habe den Rasen gegossen. Habe naemlich einige Stellen neu eingesaet und die muessen ja feucht gehalten werden...und nun das. Schnee. Soviel Schnee (30 cm+), dass sogar die Schulen hier unten im Douglas County geschlossen sind fuer heute.

Aber dafuer ist Jonah hinterm Haus Schlitten gefahren, Olivia wollte nicht, ihre Fuesse waren kalt und nass (weil wir schon 1 Stunde draussen vor dem Haus waren und eine Rinne fuer das Wasser 'gegraben' haben. Und natuerlich konnte das Kind mit ihren Moonboots nicht aus dem Wasser raus bleiben).
