Olivia tried really hard for 3 months not sucking her thumb (at least during the day) and we were so impressed with her willingness that we agreed as a price that she can have her ears pierced. Son on December 28th we got to Claire's and looked for some starter earrings that are not to young (Hello Kitty) or too girly but a pair she can wear all her life. So I chose some stainless steel studs with white diamonds (I think). I guess I was more nervous than Olivia because she was just so determined to get her ears done and to look 'beautiful'.
"Olivia, you still can run out of this store!" She's just smiling at me.
Why are you here for?
The assistant marked the spot where the ring should be placed to make it look even with the other ear.
Here we go! Look how brave my little girl was!
There she is - my new Du! All proud of herself!!
In the next store the earrings were already 'an old hat'...lol
Every day Olivia reminds me to put the solution on her ears and to turn the earrings. She really knows what to do and what her responsibility is! I am so proud of my little big girl!
