sorry....

Life is really busy these days so I never make it to the PC upstairs to update my blog with pictures and such. Chris' Grandma (Mom of Mom) died on March 12 with being 102 years and 9 months old, and was buried just before I left for Germany. Two weeks after I was back from Germany Chris' other Grandma (Mom of his Dad) died, too, at the age of 97. So it is just an exhausting last couple of weeks. But I took some pictures of the funeral since it is so different from a German one, but I will post this later.

I finally, after YEARS, got all pictures from Olivia's camera onto my PC and most of the pictures are blurry but there are a few cute and hilarious in between that I want to share with you for now:

The pictures are 2 years old, around the time Olivia turned 5 years old!

Baseball

We signed Jonah up for Baseball and he had his first practice last Thursday. They named their team 'Great White Sharks' (lol) and first started out with catching the ball and running all 4 bases. It is actually pretty hard to catch a ball with the left hand, even if you wear a humongous glove!
But Jonah did do good, followed instructions well of the coach...the rest is what it is ... 4 year old boys trying to throw and catch balls!

Jonah has a ton of fun and feels really important!

Germany!

I was in Germany last week...all by myself and a full week from Saturday to next Sunday. I had a great time visiting my family and friends that I have not seen in 4 years!

There's so much to tell and show you US folks how beautiful and different Germany is...but my first and most important reason to go was to visit my 99 year old Grandma, who's 100th birthday will come up this summer. But since every single day could be the last one, I wanted to visit my Grandma now over spring break instead of waiting until summer vacation.

I am very happy and thankful that I did!
