ATTEMPTED ROBBERY
This evening at about 9 p.m. officers responded to the Dollar Tree after a report of an attempted robbery. A female entered the store, selected some items and approached the cashier where she demanded money. She threatened that a male party was with her outside the store who would inflict harm. The employees refused to give her money and she fled eastbound on foot. She is described as a white female, 40-50 years old, approximately 5'1", wearing all black, one black glove and had yellow teeth.
Officers searched the area and were unable to locate the woman. Douglas County Sheriff's Office K-9 attempted a track and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene. Investigators do not believe there is any threat to the public.
